Kilanerin School of Cho's TaeKwon-Do was founded in 2002 under the guidance of Martin Byrne 5th Dan who has over 20 years experience in TaeKwon-Do, 18 years of which were spent training under Master Peter Byrne (Ireland regional director) in the Aughrim School Of Cho's TaeKwon-Do.

As with all clubs in the association there is an emphasis on developing the moral and spiritual character of the individual as much as the physical side. The club has five 1st Dan black belt students as well as a number of national and international champions.
